As the shadows become as short as the days and the leaves around Rocheport blaze and fall on the trail,  I am renewed anew by the culinary experience Meriwether Cafe and Bike Shop is bringing forth.

We have "gone to ground" as most of our crops and critters have, utilizing the root vegetables and winter squash still abundant in the fields surrounding our tiny hamlet; we endeavor to reinvent ourselves by reimagining our menu, clothing you culinarily in our scratch made winter comfort classics. All of our bread will be produced in house, we will bring you ever changing soup and quiche selections and all of our protein selections will be hyper local(raised less than 25 miles away). We are adding new local producers to our list of farmer friends-all of who embody the true terroir of Mid Missouri. Like us, these producers see fall/winter as an opportunity to highlight the heartier side of AgriMissouri. 

Our efforts of the summer will not be forgotten, we will build on the warm, inviting atmosphere we provided on our patio by bringing it all inside to our reimagined cozy dining room that will provide the perfect place for you to meet friends and settle into what we have affectionately begun to call, MeriWinter.
